Show JASK ME ABOUT TV What happened to Shaun Cassidy? I haven't seen him since "The Hardy Boys." Where can I write him? A.C., Augusta, Maine Shaun is doing theater and presently is appearing in Los Angeles in "Mass Appeal," with Milo O'Shea. The two-character play about a pair of priests was a big hit on Broadway. The reviews have been excellent and business is building, so it looks like the run of the play will be extended. "Mass Appeal" is also being made into a movie starring Jack Lemmon. Write Shaun in care of the Huntington Hartford Theater, 1615 Vine St., Hollywood, CA 90028. I have noticed that one ol my favorite comedy shows, "Laverne & Shirley," has left TV. Is it coming back? And has Shirley had her baby yet that is, if she was really going to have one. MM., Yuba City, Calif. "Laverne & Shirley" has left first-run TV, but it's big in syndicated reruns, so keep looking for it. Cindy Williams, who played Shirley, Shir-ley, left the show in a dispute dis-pute when she got pregnant. She gave birth to a daughter, daugh-ter, Emily, on Nov. 29. Cindy's husband and Emily's father is Bill Hudson of the Hudson brothers. |
