Show 6Cities lace Oct. 22 Davis County's longest footrace on the roads, the Six Cities Run, has been rescheduled resche-duled for Oct. 22 at 8 a.m. In past years the 20, (KK) meter event has attracted serious runners from throughout the stale and out-of-stale runners as well. The course traverses the South Davis towns of North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, West Bountiful, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Centerville and Farmington. BOUNTIFUL'S Dan Price set the course record in l'JKO, covering the 12.43 mile distance dis-tance in 1:08:05. Enid Rust of Sandy set the women's standard stan-dard in the first running of the event in 1979 with an excellent time of 1:27:19. In addition to a time on an accurately measured course, this year's runners will have split times called out at one mile and 10,000 meters. There will be aid stations with water at 4'2, 8 and Wi miles, plus punch and water at the finish. Lach registrant will be given running shorts by Downer-wear Downer-wear or International Sports, a retail value of $10 to $15. PRE-RKGISTRATION is being conducted at DeBoer's Running Store in Bountiful at a cost of $5.50. Race day registration reg-istration will precede the start at the North Salt Lake Park, located at Main and Center and will cost $7. The race will begin at North Salt Lake City Park at Main and Center Street and will end at Farmington Elementary School. Trophies will b given to winners of both Men and women and ribbons will be awarded to the first three places in each division. There will be 12 divisions, including the wheelchair division.
