Theobald at the Luncheonette Wednesday. Mrs. II. C. Robertson and family are visiting tin's week with' relatives in Salt I-ake. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks and (laughter, I-ouise, and Iee Ronnow, small broLher of Mrs. Banks left Tuesday morning for Long Beach, for a month's vacation. Mr. and Mrs. II. A. Laursen, Mr. and Mrs. Glen "Williams of this city, and Mrs. C. D. Pace of Salt Lake, motored to Hill City, Idaho, for a week's visit with relatives. Mrs. Thomas Jarman and daughU er, Norma, left Wednesday morning by auto for Newdale, Idaho, to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Edwin H. Cutler. Mrs. J. R. Halliday left Thursday for Ogden, where they will visit her daughter, Mrs. Lucius Laudie, for several days. Reed Warnick of Camp Altamoun', made a biKiini.-ri.s trip to Salt Lak. Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. and Mis. Arch Nobel of Poea-ti Poea-ti lla, Idaho, visited relatives in Pleasant, drove last week. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nobel and Miss Eileen Nobel of Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the Donald Nobel home. B. Ilazlet, travelling freight and passenger agent of the Union Pacific, made a business trip to Pleasant Grove Thursday. Mrs. Ida M. Smith, who is em ployed at the Cottonwood Maternity Home, is spending her vacation in Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Cora Hooley entertained at a social Thursday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Lula Backus. The afternoon was spent in games and social chat. Dainty refreshments were servVd early in the evening. President and Mrs. W. W. Warnick entertained at dinner Saturday for Counselor Etimun Cragun, Counselor M. S. Christiansen and Apostle R. R. Lyman. Mrs. Fred Eld-ridge Eld-ridge of Granger, is at the Warnick home helping to care for her little grandson. . President and Mrs. W. W. Warnick accompanied their Uaughter, Erne Mary, to the mission, home in Salt Lake Monday. Another daughter, Mrs. Ethel Meechanii joined them in the afternoon at Liberty Park. Dr. and Mrs. Ezra Judd have re cently returned from New York, where Dr. Judd completed his interne in-terne work in the New York Hospital. Hospi-tal. They expect to locate some place in Utah. Mrs. Judd was formerly form-erly Miss Emcline Lurid of this city. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Lund and Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman of So H Lake City with Mrs. Rose B. Hayes of this city nUeirded the Zimmerman family reunion re-union at the Lorin Parr park in Cgden Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Mecham and two children of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Wyom-ing, called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Adams Saturday enroute home after a trip along the Pacific Coast. Mrs. Mecham was before her marriage Miss Mae Rogus, a sister of Mrs. Adams. It has been thirty-two years since she visited Pleasant Grove, her old home town. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walton of Abs-con, Abs-con, New Jersey, have been visiting relatives throughout the state the past two weeks. On Wednesday Mrs. Walton's mother, Mrs. Mary Armitstead Armit-stead accompanied them by auto to Montana to visit with relatives. From there they will all return to New j Jersey, where Mrs. Armitstead will j visit indefinitely with her daughter. , Mrs. Walton before her marriage was j Miss Eliza Armitstead.
