Show u Utah-Juab County Firemen Fire-men Hold Session The Utah-Juab County Firemen's association held its regular monthly meeting Sunday, in the Cameo Theatre. Thea-tre. Plans were laid to attend the annual state firemen's convention in Tooele later this summer, and also problems of the local association were discussed. The problem of supplying sup-plying a marker at the grave of each firemen was a matter of general interest in-terest at the meeting. This is one of the Wg questions before the state association at the present. Presiden Kit, the newly elected head of the Utah-Juab association was in charge of the meeting. State Trustee Harry Elmer of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Emma Powell, persident of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veteran Vet-eran Volunteer Firemens association, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Card-well Card-well of Salt Lake City were among tho special guests present. In connection with the business meeting Miss Ann Clayson, Master Leland Priday and Miss Helen Moff-ett Moff-ett furnished musical entertainment. Following the general session, the group went to the upstairs hall in the fire station, where a delicious lunch was served. Miss Violet Preston en-tertaine'd en-tertaine'd the CTOwd with a number of humorous readings at this period. There were sixty present, including includ-ing the wives of the firemen. n . |
