Show Cavemen Start Second Half By Winning From Tintic, 14-6 The American Fork Cavemen, champions of the first half of the Central Utah league season, started the second half Wednesday, July 10, by slugging out a 14-6 victory over the dangerous Tintic Miners at the home lot. Addie Miller, on the slab for American Amer-ican Fork, had the better of Dell Steele of the invaders, although both were hit hard. The Cavemen got off to a big lead by scoring four runs in the second innings anVl four more in the third. Tintic pecked away at Miller to reduce re-duce the margin to three runs at the close of the first of the eighth, but the Cavemen came back in their half with a six-run rally to cinch the contest. Bennett's great fielding was the sensation of the game, while the slugging slug-ging of Wilson of Tintic, and Homer,. Holmstead and Christiansen of American Amer-ican For.k provided other features.
