Show Harold Walker, local manager of the Dixon-Taylor-Russell Co., is oft this week on vacation. The first part of the week he and his family spent at Mutual Dell, American Fork canyon. can-yon. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Tomlinson and family, and Mrs. C. L. Johnson and daughters, Helen and' Betty, spent Wednesday in American Fork canyon. William Peterson, C. L. Jphnson and Owen Thornton enjoyed several days this week at Strawberry valley on a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Larsen and family fam-ily and Mrs. Larsen's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Thornton, returned Wednesday Wed-nesday evening fromi a motor trip to Portland, Oregon. President S. L. Chipman and John Anderson of American Fork, visited with Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Warnick Wednesday afternoon. Apostle R. R. Lyman, Patriarch S L. Swenson and W. L. Hayes were dinner guests of President and Mrs. W. W. Warnick Sunday. Miriam Kirk, employed at the Mur-i&7 Mur-i&7 Maternity Hospital, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Kirk. The Misses Virgie Shoell and Rea Gillman entertained the Lukona Club at the Shoell home Tuesday evening. Ten members were present. o Zelma Driggs and Janice Nelson motored to Manti and spent Monday and Tuesday with friends there. Mr. ami Mrs. Neldon Lim of Casper, Wyoming, are visiting relatives here this week. Mr. and Mrs. George Davies of Denver, Colorado, visited Friday with friends in Pleasant Grove, while en-route en-route to Yellowstone Park. Mr. Davies is manager of the X C. Penney store at Denver. Mrs. Edna VThatcott and daughter.-. Flora and Donna, who have spent five weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs Blaine Johnson, returned to their home in Fillmore Thursday. |
