Bates, Reporter. . Misses Evelyn and Mae Whitby returned home Saturday after a five weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Oral Mp Gregor and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Whitby in California. Ray Marsh left Saturday night for California where he will take up a special course in music for the next few months. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Beck and daughter of Seattle, Washington, are guests of Mr. Beck's parents, M'r. and Mrs.' J. C. Beck. , Mrs. Willis Smith and children of Salt Lake, were guests the past week of Mrs. Smith's father, Mr. D. J. Hamnett. Stewart Hutchison of Murray, was a guest the forepart of the week of his .mother, Mrs. Isaac Healey. Mrs. Willard Cleghorn entertained the Happy Dozen Club at her home Wednesday afternoon. After the usual us-ual activities a dainty lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hamnett and children were guests Sunday of Mrs. Hamnett sister, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Hall of Magna. Dinner guests Sunday of Miss Hilda Hil-da Bates were Thelma Peterson of Alpine, and Adolphus and Francis Fran-cis Pulley of American Fork. The Sunday guest of Miss Amber Strong was Mr. Arnold Burningham of Lake View. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A.. Forbes received word of the arrival on July 4th of a fine baby girl at the home |
