Show o Archie Bromley Laid At Rest Largely attended were the funeral services held Monday afternoon at 2 j p. m. in the Third ward chapel for Archie Bromley, 51, who died July! 5th, following a brief illness. Thej floral offerings were profuse and i many. Bishop John Hunter was in charge - of the services which opened with a trio consisting of Mrs. Clara Rhodes, Mrs. Leona Anderson and Mrs. La Docia Wagstaff singing "I Need Thee Every Hour." Bishop Joseph H Storrs gave the opening prayer. The next musical selection was "Beautiful "Beauti-ful City of God" sung by the ladies trio. The speakers were W. S. Robinson. Eli B. Hawkins and Bishop Hunter. A vocal duet by Clarence A. Grant and Ray Shelley interspersed the speakers. The closing song was beautifully rendered by the trio, after which Frank G. Shelley pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. Interment was made in the city cemetery, where E. J. Seastrand dedicated the grave. |
