Show Ontario project gets planner approval The Park City Planning Commission unanimously approved the Ontario Master Plan Development at their July 11 meeting. The OK came after developers accepted a City condition for a pedestrianbike path in the project. At the previous commission meeting, the Ontario planners balked at the requirement. Senior planner John Eskelin explained they were concerned the path would run over Hazardous mine areas. The Ontario project is planned for property adjoining Deer Valley, east of the Ontario mine facility. The commission's approval stipulated the path, winding through the Master Plan Development, be completed prior to the occupancy of its Parcel C. Its exact location is to be established later. |
