Show Code change allows retail in RDM zone The Planning Commission voted to change the city's Land Code for me nesiaenuai Development Medium Density (RDM) zone. The recommendation to City Council was unanimously approved on July 11. City Council unanimously ratified the change on July 12. The commercial uses would be in effect only with Large Scale Master Planned Development and would be . noted as Conditional Use. : The change was partly prompted by plans for the Snow Creek project, to be located east of Highway 224 near the Park City Municipal Golf Course. Under the Code changes, the commercial uses would be oriented toward the internal circulation of the project, and designed for residents or users of the developement. Signage would only be visible within the project. The changes in the Code stipulate "support commercial" will not take up more than 10 percent of the project's total gross floor area and will not occupy over 2,000 gross ., square feet. " The Code said such uses would include barber shops, clothing stores, camera stores, pharmacies, day care nurseries "or other hotel lobby type uses." |
