Show IMPOSTOR IN WOMAN'S GARB The local Sanation Army is tbe victim of a woman impostor who on Saturday night last went through the saloons and other resorts, soliciting funds in the name of the Army. Thla has prompted the ofDcer in charge to lmue the following warning: "The public Is warned against lm-posters, lm-posters, who altho dressed lu various vari-ous garbs are soliciting aid for the Salvation Army. "It is the custom or some indolents to prey upon the public, and frequently frequent-ly they are found collecting and existing exist-ing on the merits or the Army. "Kindly bear in mind that no such on is authorized ,and should any turn up to your door, ask for proper credentials, signed by A. E. Chea-bam." |
