Show PROMINENT MEN IN FATAL AUTO WRECK FORT COLLINS, Colo , July 10. W. H. Allison, president of the First National bank of Boulder, was probably prob-ably fatally hurt and Judge James Garrigues and Judge Harry P. Gamble of the state district court, sustained severe injuries late today, when an automobile lu which they were ridlDg, .kidded over a cliff at Virginia Dale H;!l. :53 miles northwest of here and fell 18 feet Allison, who was driving, was Tinned Tin-ned beneath the car, one of his arms and a collar bone were broken, his face badly gashed and ho received contusions of the head and internal injuries from which physicians said tonight, ho could not recover The two Judges were thrown clear. The extent of their injuries 18 not known. The party was on its way to North Park, where tho Judges were to hold court. When the accldeut occurred, the ill-fated machine was running a llttlo way aheod of one occupied by Dr. E. B. Queal and George Debard of Fort Collin., who hastened to the rescue and brought all three men to a hospital here. Allison is counted among the larger financiers of the state and Judge Garrigues has been regarded as a likely candidate for the Mate supreme court Judgeship this fall. |
