Available Space On Ships to Aid Beef Shipments WASHINGTON, Dec. 4. Owing to the large amount of ocean space now available for the shipment of frozen beef and provisions, the railroad administration ad-ministration has placed a three-day schedule of the rail -movement of these commodities between Chicago and New York. Director General McAdoo announced today that this arrango-ment arrango-ment will contribute materially to the relief work being done in the stricken areas. Quantities of frozen beef which have been held in freight terminals now are being moved rapidly to the shipping ports. The increase in available ocean space has resulted from the decrease in shipments of war supplies the director di-rector general said.
