Show Deaths and Funerals WHITE Tho funeral cortege with the body of Horace White, llttlo son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. White, will leave the Lindqulst chapel tomorrow afternoon after-noon at 1:30 o'clock. Services will be conducted in the city cemetery. BEAN Mrs. George A. Bean of Richfield, Rich-field, formerly Miss Rose Douady of Ogden, passed away yesterday morning of Influenza-pneumonia. Mrs. Bean yeaves her husband, a baby daughter 2 years of age, and a baby, born December De-cember 3. Mrs. Bean, before her marriage mar-riage resided in Ogden at tho home of H. Goodale and was an assistant instructor in-structor in French at the Weber academy acad-emy under Professor Barker. Tho funeral fu-neral services will bo conducted at RIchfiold tomorrow morning. Mrs. Bean had many friends In Ogden who sincerely regret her death. WILLIAMS Daniel P. Williams passed away at 9 a. m. yesterday at the homo of his son in Plain City, following fol-lowing an illness of pneumonia caused by an attack of Spanish influenza. Mr. Williams was born in Bisbrook, England, Eng-land, February 12, 1825, and he came to Utah 29 years ago, having resided in Weber county ever since. He was as a fanner. Surviving him are two sons, Daniel of Plain City, and Thomas Walter of Grant, Idaho. Mr. Williams was a member of the church of Latter day Saints. The funeral cortege will leave the Lindquist chapel Saturday at 1 p. m., and go to the West Weber cemetery for services and interment. HANSEN Funeral services for William Wil-liam Hansen wcro held this morning at 10:30 o'clock. Bishop W. W. Rawson officiated. The cortege proceeded to the ctiy cemetery shortly ufter 10 o'clock. Miss Juanitu Winter sang "Thy Will Be Done," and the prayer was given by David Shaw. A few short words were spokfcn by David Jonscn. who also dedicated tho grave. HOBSON Monday, Dec. 2, 1918, Harold Vivian Hobson. died in tho Marine Ma-rine Training camp hospital, San Die- go, Cal., 23 years old, son, of Mrs. E. C. Hobson of Ogden. He is survived by his mother and the following brothers, bro-thers, Alma Cluff Hobson, Jess J. Hobson, Hob-son, George C. Hobson, Ivan L. Hobson. Hob-son. Funeral services will bo held at tho grave in Richmond Cemetery, Ut Saturday, 11 a. m. The funeral cortege with the body of Joseph Todd will leave the resldonce tomorrow at 3 p. m., and proceed to the Mountain View cemetery where 1 Rev. J. E. Carver will conduct the services. The funeral cortege bearing the body of William Eayers will leave tho residence, 2626 Juincy avenue, Sunday at 1 p. m. and go to the Ogden city cemetery where the Woodmen of the World will conduct the services. MONTGOMERY The funeral services serv-ices for Mrs. Montgomery will be held Friday at 2 p. m., at the West Point cemetery. BARTON Enoch Henry Barton, aged 19 years, passed away of influenza-pneumonia this morning at the homo of his parents, Potcr and Mary S. King Barton in this city. Tho young man was born April 22, 1899, and besides his parents, several brothers broth-ers and sisters survive, as well as a number of other relatlvos. The remains re-mains were taken to the Larkln chapel to bo prepared for services, the time and place to be announced later. ALVORD Funeral services of Gideon Alvord who died at his homo In North Ogden at 2:15 a. m. December 4 of pneumonia, will be hold at one o'clock Friday on the lawn of the residence res-idence In North Ogden. SERVA William Serva, 17, died at a local hospital this morning of influenza-pneumonia. He lived at 250 West Twelfth street and his remains havo been conveyed to tho Kirkondall parlors. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. |
