Show Daniels Authorizes Discharge Dis-charge of 109,000 men at Once. 'act' IMMEDIATELY Twenty Per Cent of Naval Personnel to Be Effected by Order, WASHINGTON, Dec. 5. Discharge Dis-charge of 20 per centof the navy's wartime personnel, about 100,000 men, has been authorized. Members of naval units in schools and colleges will complete their train- j Ing and then stand discharged. In the cases of special student bodies, such as the paymaster's school at Prince-1 ton and the ensign's schools at An- I napolls, students in the present classes upon graduation will be commissioned in the reserve.
