Show L10LN HE TO BE PAVED TO THE RIVER ;j The city commission, at the session this morning, awarded the J. P. O'Neill Construction company the con- j tract for paving Lincoln avenue, between be-tween Twenty-fourth street and the Ogden river, the improvement project being defined by city ordinance as paving district No. 122. Tho bid of the construction company was the lowest submitted, calling for an outlay out-lay of $37,755.01. The bid of the Wheelwright Construction company was for ?39,293.73. Application ,of Andrew J. Mandanis for license to conduct an employment 1 agency was granted and a bond of $1,000 approved. The report of I. N. Fulton, clerk; of mdney paid in the municipal court during dur-ing tho month of August was referred to the city recorder. It show $1,G33.50 to have been paid in fines and forfeitures forfeit-ures and $174.40 for witness fees. The total is 51.S07.00. Wjlh the approval of plans and specifications spec-ifications for the repair of tho bridge over Ogden river at tho mouth of Ogden Og-den canyon, tho city recorder was authorized to publish notices to contractors con-tractors that bids will be received. nn |
