Show APPRECIATION BY A SOLDIER That the public-splritedness of one Ogden firm is appreciated, is instanced in-stanced in the following letter to the John Scowcroft ft Sons' company, fi"tn C. Chase of Company B. Otah cavalry. N. G. U. stationed at ogales, Ariz.: "Dear Sir Feeling it my duty, I will endeavor to write you a few lines thanking you for the considersr tion which you have shown my wife and babies since my rail to the Mexican Mexi-can border. They would have been left in hard circumstances had it not been for your patriotic kindness. I assure you it is highly appreciated awl hope that some day I will be able to repay you for it. Yours truly. ( Signed) W. C. Chase." Mr. Chase was employed by the Scowcroft company prior to his de parture for the Mexican border and is still on Its regular payroll. |
