Show GREAT SGEEBY SEEN li III' Alexander Harmcr, painter of California Cali-fornia scenes, and probably the greatest great-est living art-authority in America on California pioneer landscapes and Mission architecture, was stationed for several months at the Clune studios stu-dios in Los Angeles, supervising the preparation of costumes and in-door settings for the production of "Ra-mona," "Ra-mona," at the Orpheum Sunday, Monday Mon-day matinee and night. No one, with the exception of the lato Henry Sand-ham, Sand-ham, who accompanied Helen Hunt Jackson on her trips through California, Cali-fornia, and who magnificently Illustrated Illus-trated the Pasadena edition of "Ra-mona," "Ra-mona," has ever been so well qualified quali-fied as Mr. Harmer for the difficult and delicate task assigned to him by Mr. Clune, and his employment was illustrative of the extreme care exercised ex-ercised throughout the filming of Mrs. Jackson's Immortal romance of the California Mission days.
