Show LA FOLLETTE HAS A BADS PELL Milwaukee, Wis , Nov. 1 The reports re-ports of the manner in which Senator Sen-ator Robert M LaFollette is conducting conduct-ing his campaign for the election of an independent Progressive candidate for governor, J J. Blaine, have been followed by rumors regarding the state of his health and these reports v. ere gien the semblance of truth to-daj to-daj by the announcement that it had been decided to call off Monday's schedule of speeches. LaFollette came west for a three-day three-day whirlwind tour of the slate to put life into the campaign against two regular candidates, but on his first day was forced to call off three speeches Saturday he was forced to call oft one speech for lack of j attendance, and at two other places was forced to cut his addresses short. At Stev enspoint, where Senator LaFollette La-Follette gave the Strangest exhibition Since his famous Philadelphia breakdown, break-down, he leaped from the platform Into the crowd and his secretary stopped stop-ped his address. Six addresses in as many towns tomorrow have been i cancelled. |
