Show EIGHTY HOBOES 01 K FREIGHT TBI FROM NORTH The city was infested yesterday by about eighty hoboes, who arrived early ear-ly in the morning on an Oregon Short Line freight train The gang was met near the Southern Pacific June tion on West Seventeenth street bj Officers Wardlaw. Pincock, La ne and Joe Jones, and eighteen of Its mem bers were taken into custody before they could escape lo the brush They gave their names as F A. French. John Kennedy Lewis Garbick. Pat. The hoboes were found on the train by the crew, some distance north of Cache Junction, and not onlv demoralized demor-alized the crew but the officers of Cache Junction as well The officers offi-cers at Ogden were notified and were awaiting the train on its arrival. The trespasser however, anticipated this and left the train at it slowed down near Seventeenth street, and only a omparativeh small number of them were caught.
