Show 1 Society AT HUNTSVILLE. The Huntsille and Middleton Ward Mutual Improvement associations met conjointly last nighf, in the Hunts-Mile Hunts-Mile meeting house, and were finely entertained by members of the Ogden Conservatory of Music faculty. Piano selections were given by Beatrice Ltrewer and Lillian Wright, while Llla Jost sang several solos and gave a brief talk on the purposes and aim of the conservatory. A large crowd attended the service and showed much appreciation for the concert. MRS. FAULKNER SURPRISED. A number of the friends of Mrs. R. Faulkner of 315 Bernard avenue, delightfully de-lightfully surprised that lady last Friday Fri-day afternoon The day was Mrs. Faulkner's birthday and many pretty gifts were tendered her. Card games and music were features fea-tures of the afternoon's entertainment. Luncheon was served at 6 o'clock, covers cov-ers being laid for the following- Mes-dames Mes-dames Walters, Singleton, Keller, Salt. Drew, Dinsdale, Beck, Guthrie, Weston. Wes-ton. Patch, Poulson, Hanson, Kissel, (Jullichson, Pearce and Mortenson; also the Misses Sadie Dinsdale, Walters. Wal-ters. Salt and Masters Faulkner. Knight, Dinsdale and Keller. FROM MICHIGAN. Mrs W. G. Manning of Dafoe, Mich., arrived in Ogden this morning, called by the illness of her father. Mr. A. F. G. Babeock. who is at the home of his daughter, Mrs S. C. La Freniere, 836 Twenty-sixth street. HALLOWE'EN PARTY. The Misses Myrtle Wilson, Agnes Bardett. Olive Wilson and Lilla Bates, entertained at the Bartlett residence, last Wednesday evening, at an All Hallows party. Black and yellow was the color scheme carried out In the decorations with ghosts and Jack-o'-lanterns Th- evening was spent In music, games and fortune telling and at 11 o'clock lunch was served. Those present were: Bishop and Mrs. Ceorqe Creen Mr. nnd Mrs Joseph Bartlett and Mrs L W. Darling; Misses .Martha Bartlett, Bart-lett, Mary A. Peterson, Pearl White. -mmmmt. Dr. Mark Brown, formerly of thin city, and at present practicing in New York, is visiting iu Chicago for a few days.
