Justet became Second Lieutenant recently when he received a commission in the U. S. Air Force. Lieutenant Justet received his commission through the AFROTC Detachment at Southern Utah State College. Lieutenant Justet is from Springdale. He is married to the former Melodie Beatty of LaVerkin. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Urie Justet of Springdale. He is a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Lieutenant Justet feels that the AFROTC program offers a unique experience and challenge for the young men and women of today. Many cadets receive scholarships that pay for tuition, lab fees, incidentals and books in , addition to $100 per month. Those who are pilot qualified receive pilot instruction their senior year and have the opportunity to obtain a private pilot's license, all at the expense of the Air Force. The Southern Utah area is very lucky to have the ROTC program at both SUSC and at Dixie College. |
