Show Aman Folk Ensemble slates appearance here April 9th the artistic direction of Leona Wood and Anthony Shay, this amazingly versatile company presents a unique program of beautiful, exciting and splendidly costumed dances. The company maintains an ever-growing collection (now over 3000) of authentic regional costumes, many of them gifts of the respective governments, plus other collections of musical in struments and written materials. The Aman company will do a series of demonstration-performances demonstration-performances in the schools of Iron County. Tickets sold at the door will be priced at $3.50 for adults and $100 for students outside of Iron County. SUSC and Iron County School District students will be admitted free. Through the efforts of the Cedar City Music Arts Committee, Com-mittee, the Aman Folk Ensemble of 60 magnificently costumed dancers, singers, and musicians will be in Cedar City Tuesday, April 9 to present folk music and dances specifically of Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The program will begin at 8:15 p.m. in the SUSC Auditorium. From the beginning, the Aman's claim to fame has been its authenticity.
