Drapery class prepares Cedar ladies for spring Many ladies of Cedar City have a special edge on Spring cleaning and decorating this year. They have been working and planning since January for this event. These are the ladies who last week completed a class in Drapery Making with Nida Childs at the Cedar City High School. Nineteen ladies enrolled in the class in January. They ranged in experience from amateurs to semi-professionals and have all worked very hard, according to Mrs. Childs. All of them learned pi'oper placement of rods and how to do this, and how to measure exactly in order to meet individual needs. They made both lined and unlined drapes. Some made new ones and some remodeled old drapes. They learned adaptations adap-tations to meet the needs of basement apartments, mobile homes, and full window treatments treat-ments such as, floor to ceiling and full wall cover drapes.
