Show SUSC acquires art collection i. 1 Etchings, oil paintings and a drawing with a combined current market value of $15,000 have been donated to the Southern Utah State College permanent art collection. Dr. David A. Dolowitz, senior physician at the Utah Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, Salt Lake City, recently made the donation susc. ' - " A special exhibit of the six donated works is planned at the SUSC Library later in the spring quarter, according to Thomas A. Leek, SUSC associate professor and curator of art. "Dr. Dolowitz expressed a special fondness for the area and a desire to help a smaller developing institution as his reasons for making the donations to SUSC. His gifts greatly enrich our art collection. We are indeed grateful for his generosity and for his genuine interest in the college," Royden C. Braithwaite, SUSC president, said. Works donated to the college include a 1924 16 x 22 oil painting by Henry G. Keller, an oil painting and two etchings by Mahonri Young, a pencil drawing by Maynard Dixon and an oil painting by Lee Greene Richards.
