Show Parowan Rammettes garner second place in Nephi meet The Rammettes are now making final plans to attend the Nevada State Drill Team Finals in Las Vegas May 17 and 18. They arc under the direction of Mrs. Gary Bentley and the school is very proud of their achievements. The Parowan High School Rammettes won second place in an invitational marching meet in Nephi. The clubs competing in the meet included A to AAAA Schools including Duchsene, Manti, Lehi, North and South Sevier, Grantsville and others. The Rammettes were accompanied ac-companied by "Pork 'n Beans", a trio consisting of David Lamoreaux on drums, Russell Rowley on guitar and Ed Walunas on banjo. Gransville won first place by a slim five point margin with Parowan second and Cedar High Mohey Tawa's third. American Fork won an honorable mention. The meet was judged hy. the Cougarettes from BYU. |
