Show Phi Rho Omega hold Dinner-Meet On March 5th, the Pi Rho Omega Sorority held their quarterly dinner at the Town & Country Restaurant. Each member invited a partner of her choice to attend the affair as her guest. Dr. Wesley Larsen, of the SUSC Department of Life Science, was selected by the sorority as the "Professor of the Year," and he and Mrs. Larsen were honored guests v at the dinner where he was presented with a plaque in recognition of his accomplishments and contributions con-tributions as a man and as a teacher. The award for "Miss Pi Rho Perfection" went to the presiding president, Ms. Valerie Rainey of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mr. Greg McDonald of L. A., Calif, received the "Man of the Hour" award. The members of the organization also presented a scroll, card, and gift to their advisor, Ms. Mary Ann Wilks from Parowan. The dinner was well attended and a memorable occasion for all. The Pi Rho's have a great spring quarter planned and would liketo invite all interested women on. campus to come and meet them and learn more about the sorority at Iheir Spring Rush. |
