Show NEW HARMONY NEWS By Marva Prince Mrs. Bea Watson and Daughter Denise Piatt of New . Castle was a Sunday visitor here with relatives. Bea is a former resident of New Harmony. Gerald Prince and son Gregory of Cedar City visited one day last week with Mr. Prince's father Marion. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce visited in JCanarraville one day last week with their niece and family Mrs. Alenna Berry. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbrey have returned home after spending a week in California with their son Don and family, and also visited with the Doug Thorley and their grandson Dallas who is spending the school year with the Thorleys. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Pace attended the wedding and open house for their nephew Ronald Blake and new bride. The Blakes were married Friday in St. George. Mrs. Olive Schmutz traveled to Salt Lake, one day last week with her daughter Elaine Averett to attend funeral services for Mrs. Schmutz brother-in-law.. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Pace attended funeral services in Cedar City Saturday March 6, for Mrs. Pace's sister-in-law Mrs. Lester (Colleen Shakespeare) Blake, Mrs. Blake passed away March 3 at the Valley View Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. Perry O. Williams of Henderson, Nev, is here visiting with Mr. Williams sister Mrs. Lyle B. Prince. Mrs. Merlin Prince and sons Robert and Dale are spending a , week in Midvale visiting and : helping her parents the Dick Densleys.i' rn. '" : Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs Lowell Prince attended a session at the St. George Temple Wednesday and also visited with the Clyde Hunt family. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Grant is visiting in Clearfield with their daughter and son-in-law Dale and Rolaine and family. Mr. Bradley Hunt, and sister-in-law Shannon Hunt spent one day here last week visiting with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lyle B. Prince. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince and daughters Beth, Linda, and Talonnie and Gary Prince, brother of Lowell visited in Logandale, Nev. with the Prince's Uncle the Reed Princes Sunday afternoon. Betsy Goodwin and a friend Kimberly Hunt visited over the weekend with Betsy's brother and family, the Robert Goodwins. Good-wins. The girls are from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Woolsey and family of Las Vegas, Nev. visited with Mrs. Woolsey's parents Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Pace.. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodwin and daughter Lynett and Mrs. Goodwin's grandfather Ashby Pace attended the Saturday, night fights at the Dixie College in St. George. The boys from here attending the Class 3A State semi-finals in Provo are Elwin, Gary, and Brent Prince, Mark Masterson, Kendle Kelsey and Stewart Christensen of Kanarraville. Visiting one day last week with the Robert Goodwin family was Bevan Iverson of Hurricane. Bevan is a former resident of New Harmony. Mr. Fred Melville of Murray is in the process of moving to New Harmony to make his home. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce attended funeral services in Toquerville for Mrs. Sylvia Kleinman. Mr. Dean Hall has returned home after spending a week in Salt Lake visiting and helping his son Weston on their new home. |
