Show St. Patrick's Day Dance There'll be a "wearin' of the green" at the Cedar Stake House Friday March 19 when couples of the Cedar City area meet for a St. Patrick's Danee. The dance, sponsored by the Cedar Stake, will begin at 8 p.m. with special dance instruction under the direction of Bishop and Sister Ivan Matheson. The Mathesons will teach old-fashioned old-fashioned folk dancing such as the "Spanish Waltz" and "Ten Pretty Ladies". At 9 p.m. Heber Lund and his dance band will be on hand to play "all kinds of music" for the dancing pleasure of those in attendnace. Rollo Brunson, chairman of the dances, indicates that dance cards are still available at a discout price of $7.50 for this dance and the one in April and the one in May. Tickets at the door will be $3 per couple. |
