Show CAB conduct hearings on Air West 1 The Civil Aeronautic Board hearings began in Cedar City Tuesday, March 16 : involving a request to drop service to , . Cedar City by Hughes Air West. Air West announced that boardings had dwindled to where it is no longer economical to make stops in Cedar City and has asked the CAB for permission to discontinue service. David L. Wilkenson is representing the Utah Properties and the Cedar City Corporation. The order of appearances in court will be as follows: witness from Page, Arizona, Hughes Air West, State of Arizona, Civic Parties (Cedar City and Page), and the Bureau of Operating Rights. The March 16 hearing was primarily witnesses from Page, Arizona. Hughes Air West has also requested to discontinue services to Page. Hearing resumed Wednesday and final hearings are set today, Thursday at 10 I a.m. in the courtroom of the City and County Building. , Judge William Kane, Washington D. C. is presiding over the hearing. |
