Show Parowan Swimming Pool opens IWUOWAN - The Parowan City Swimming pool is now open, and everyone is invited in-vited to "keep cool at the pool." It will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Mr. Lew Leigh is the pool manager this year, with Wendy Stolk and Larueen Dalley as lifeguards. Family season tickets are now avaialble at the Parowan City office for $20.00. Individual passes are $10.00 and $7.50. Daily tickets are $1.00 for adults and 75 cents for ages 6 to 15, children ages 5 and under will be admitted free but must be accompanied by an older person. The water has been clorinated and is usable if parents desire to have their children swim there. Sign up for swimming lessons will be held today, Thursday, all during the day. Classes will be offered from beginning to advanced life saving. If enough interest in-terest is shown racing and synchronized swimming will be taught. Also diving lessons will be given by Mr. Leigh who is an expert diver. |
