Show CA PvX Lcttcrs y0tlkh To The H 1 Jm Edltor Editor: I am writing to commend the mass media in the Cedar City area for the extensive opportunities they provide area residents to express their points of view. KSUB radio deserves recognition for the opportunities op-portunities it provides through its program "Direct Line 59". I was particularly impressed with the unbias shown in allowing Mormon dissadent Douglas Wallace to appear on the program despite the fact that his views very likely greatly contrast those of KSUB and area residents. I have also been impressed by KBRE radio's new program "Squawk Box" and the freedom of expression which it allows. The Iron County Record should also be commended for its steadiness in allowing feedback through its editorial page. Area residents should consider themselves fortunate to be able to express their views. We must also keep in mind that no matter how good our opportunities are, they are of little value unless we take full advantage of them. Sincerely, Jon D. Robinson Dear Editor. What is a 4-H Record Book? Let me tell you. Mine is a detailed record of my four years of 4-H activities. It contains a record of all the tings I have cooked and sewn, news articles, pictures, pic-tures, letters, my 4-H story ' and achievement certificate. It represents a lot of time and contains things I cannot replace. When a boy or girl competes com-petes for state or national awards this is what is judged. - their Record Book f Like any other good 4-H member I am very proud of my book and am happy to share it with others. I loaned mine to a new leader at the acheivement program in November it it has not been returned. Is it at your house? It is in a green folder and has my name, address and phone number on the front and on at least four sheets inside. Will you please call me so I can pick it up? Thank you. Distressed 4-Iler 586-6987 |
