Show Williams dies of Heart Ailment t . A, Jay Williams, age 62 of 354 West 400 North, Cedar City, died December 16, at home from a heart ailment. Born December 5, 1914, at Lakepoint Tooele County. Jo Almon John and Mary White Williams. Married Ellen Jenkins October 22, 1937, in Magna, Utah, Survivors include his wife, one daughter Mrs, Duane (Kathleen ) Raymer of Cedar City, two grandchildren, Bret and Kelly, one brother, John R. Williams, Fernley Nev., four sisters, Mrs. Wayne Park of Murray, Mrs.' Ray Brande, Toolele, Mrs. Ray Johnson of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Jack Humphreys of Toolele. Mr. Williams lived in Cedar City for 31 years and worked for California Pacific Utility as a Draftsman. ' Funeral services were held Monday. Dec. 20 at the Cedar v.. m.-h - ..lLi. I nm.MuiiMi.MI v "'V . r. tv A. JAY WILLIAMS City Third Ward Chapel and burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Services were conducted by Bishop George B. Fry with an eulogy by Dr. J. S. Prestwich. Speaker was Wallace K. Smith. Family prayer was offered by Vinol Turner, the invocation was by Wallace Adams, the benediction by Ray Johnson and the dedication of the grave was by John R. Williams. Musical selections included two vocal solos by Christine Winterrose with prelude and postlude music by Lois Fry. |
