A meeting called for the ipcclal purpose was held In the Parpwan Third Ward Chapel. Presiding was Stake President J. Phillip Hanks who advised that although it has been only a relatively short time since the wards were reorganized that due to growth In the community and some unforseen growth patterns that It has become necessary to again set ward boundries. The new boundries are defined in the accompanying map. leadership within the wards will remain unchanged in the. First and Third Wards, Parowan Second Ward will now have a new bishopric', ('len Ilalterman was sustained Sunday to assume the position of Hlshop succeeding Rodney Adams, who wns moved into the First Ward. Monte C. Lloyd will serve as his first counselor and Alan Adams as Second Counselor, Retiring counselors are Roy Benson, Jr. and Frank Davis, The new Second Ward Rishopric will have Thalcs Brown serving as Ward Clerk and Jay Wamsley as Executive Secretary, |
