Show Annual UFO due December 24th PAROWAN - Residents of Soutern Utah should be alerted to the fact that on Friday evening of December 24 a shiny silver object ob-ject will be visible in the northern skies. Scientists have not yet identified the object, but say that it seems to be zooming rapidly through space and will be visible here for a very short time during the late evening or perhaps early Saturday morning. This phenomenon seems to occur once each year and has yet to be photographed or positively identified. Some experts think perhaps it is a fragment of a satellite, and others speculate that it is a lost meteorite drifting through space. One daring young space scientist said he thought it looked like the runners on a sleigh and another said his radio picked up a distinct "Ho, Ho, Ho" coming from the object. But both were quickly dismissed as incompetent. in-competent. It is strange that the sightings always seem to occur on, Christmas Eve and at no other' time of the year. And, as it is followed on radar screens it seems to dip momentarily whenever it passes over houses where children live. Mary Gae |
