Show Suzanne Magleby becomes wife of Grover Dils in double-ring ceremony 9, $r Miss Suzanne Magleby and Grover Dils, Jr. exchanged vows November 27 with Judge Haldow E. Christensen officiating at the double ring ceremony, The Enchanted Gardens was the setting for the wedding and the reception which followed. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Magleby and the bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Grover C, Dils of Caliente, Nev. The bride wore a long chiffon dress featuring an empire waist, lace bodice, long sleeves, and chapel train. The finger-tip veil was held with a delicate headpiece head-piece of champagne daisies and pheasant feather tips, She carried a bouquet of white orchids, or-chids, champagn daisies, and pheasant feather tips. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Bonnie Bishop. Maid of honor was Sonja Sandberg and bridesmaids were Mrs. Connie Magleby, a sister-in-law, and Kris Davis. The attendants wore dresses of an apricot knit jersey with beige trim, Empire waist lines were emphasized with cummerbunds. Red rover disc buds and floral hair pieces completed the ensembles. Best man, Karl Dils, and ushers, Dan Dils, Mike Edwards, and Clark Magleby wore dark brown suits matching the vest worn by the bridegroom. Mrs. Magleby wore a long dress of guiana burnt rose with long sleeves and accented with a japette orchid corsage. Mrs. Dils' long dress was a light grey print with fuchsia. She too had a japette orchid corsage. The bride chose a blue suede mid-length dress and white sandals as her going away MR. AND MRS. GROVER DILS, JR. costume: After honeymooning in southern Utah and Reno, Nev., the newlyweds traveled to Salt Lake where they are continuing their educations. The new Mrs. Dils is an honors graduate in Sociology from Southern Utah State College and is now a graduate student in social work at the University of Utah. While at SUSC she was active in the Rodeo Club. Mr. Dills is a SUSC graduate in Chemistry and has been doing graduate work in Biochemistry at the University of Nevada in Reno. Prior to the wedding the bride was guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower given by Linda Hunt and Cathy Larsen of Salt Lake and a Rehearsal Dinner was hosted by Bonnie and Kent Bishop at their home. |
