Show I TV Dance Raises Additional Uniform Funds The Elks Television dance was . staged Saturday night at the armory ar-mory another feature of the drive for funds to pay for the new junior high school band uniforms. Door prize of the evening was a 1957 model 21" television set that was won by Lloyd Crawford Craw-ford of Cedar City. In connection with the set, TC-TV station in Cedar City also awarded Craw, ford a free hookup to their sys. tern, according to Blaine Wood, general chairman of the uniform fund drive. Still another activity is plan-ned plan-ned by the Elks Lodge in the drive for funds. It will be a square dance Jamboree, which will be held sometime in May. A definite date has not yet been set. The uniforms have arrived and will be distributed to band members mem-bers this week in preparation for spring events by the organization. |
