Show Chamber Officials Seek Support For Enlarged Program j The 1957 board of directors of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, determined to ctn-, plete an activity and promotion program during the year that will have far-reaching benefits for the community, has urged wider participation of citizens in the Chamber of Commerce program. In order to complet ? a worthwhile program, the direct-1 ors maintain, membership of the organization must' be increased considerably over that of recent years. j A membership campaign was started some time ago under the direction of the finance and membership committee, and G. D. MacDonald. president, announces an-nounces that the response has been very encouraging. However.: he points out that it is important that the membership include more business firms and many more individual memberships. It Is hoped that every family head in the city can be contacted contact-ed and given an opportunity to become a member. A follow-up campaign will be held on Saturday, April 27, in order that all Individuals not contacted previously can be reached. However, Mr. MacDonald MacDon-ald points out that It should not be necessary to contact everyone, every-one, since anyone may join by forwarding his dues, $10 for individual indi-vidual membership, to the rham. iber office and receive full credit. cre-dit.
