Show Recreation Funds Distributed I To Communities Myron F. Higbee, Iron County commissioner in charge of the county receration program, announced an-nounced this week that recreation recrea-tion money taken from the tax levy has been distributed to the communities of the county. A total of $17,500 was distiib-uted distiib-uted among the communities of the county with Beryl receiving $4,700 to help in the completion of the recreation building, that has been under constructon there for the past three years. Cedar City garnered the largest share of the tax money, receiving a total of $7,900. Tarowan received re-ceived $2,900. Allocations dropped drop-ped for the remaining commu. nitles as follows: Paragonah, $500: Kanarraville. $400; Summit Sum-mit $400: Enoch $400, and New-castle, New-castle, $300. For the past three years money from this fund has been used extensively in aiding residents of the Beryl area to construct a recreation bulldine. It Is estl-mated estl-mated that approximately $10,000 will be needed to complete the building, which will be ud by the school and for area-wide recreational rec-reational purposes. Serving on the recreation committee com-mittee with Higbee are Leo Larson, Lar-son, Iron County school board member; lanthus Wright, superintendent super-intendent of county schools, and Dr. J. S.
