Show V BEAUTIFUL NEW UNIFORMS. Miss Pat Frame and McNeil Boyter of the Cedar City -Junior High School Band try on new band uniforms, and check order with Von Wayman, J. C. Penney Co. assistant assist-ant manager. Attractive new uniforms have been made available through remarkable re-markable support of Cedar City Elks Lodge, in a project sponsored by parents par-ents of students. New uniforms will be ready for band's participation in school spring activities and community functions func-tions throughout the summer. Funds for the uniforms have been raised by Elks through a series of entertainment programs pro-grams and fund raising projects. Also to be better uniformed this year will be the high school band as the result of the purchase of new trousers for band members mem-bers to be worn with Jackets that band has appeared in for several years. In the past each member has had to provide his or her own white trousers when the band pei formed. The new trousers will be paid for from student body fees that have been added to the band fund for several years for Just such a purpose, and additional i funds raised by the band at concerts. |
