Show Cedar City Man Takes Bride in Portland Ceremony Miss Lila Strickland of Portland, Port-land, Ore., exchanged wedding vows with Capt. Gayle Walker, son of Mrs. Gertrude McCaughey of Cedar City. The services took place Saturday Satur-day afternoon, March 2ist in the Christian Church in Portland. Performing the double-ring rites was Rev. Roger Aydelott. The former Miss Strickland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Strickland of Emmot, Ida. Captain Walker and his bride are currently in Cedar City visiting visit-ing with Mrs. McCaughey, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Browning and other relatives. They will depart Saturday for San Angelo, Tex. Gayle is returning to ths Good-fellow Good-fellow Air Force Base where he has been and will be stationed. Arriving in Cedar City with the newlyweds were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Robb of Salt Lake City. The Robbs were guests of Mh. Robb's parents. This past week end. Captain Walker, his wife, his mother and Mrs. C. M. Browning traveled to Las Vegas. |
