Show Tryouts Completed For Traveling Assembly Numbers Numbers to be given on the program for the Parowan High School traveling assembly were selected following tryouts during the past week, with 11 numbers selected to appear in the presentations. presen-tations. The traveling assembly group will visit several of the high schools of the area within the next week, presenting the program which is being prepared. In return assembly programs the other area schools will bo presented in Parowan to the student stu-dent body and patrons of the school. Numbers chosen to make up the program are as follows: a song and dance by Mary Ann Evans; a vocal solo by April Rollins; Rol-lins; a dance by LaVonna Jones; a reading by Joan Evans; folk singing by Gary Jensen, Dewey Topham, David Hyatt, Kathy Rowley; a vocal number by the Worthen Sisters, Vicki, Cherie and Christine. A vocal trio by Vicki Worthen, Joan Smith and La Rae Lamor-eaux. Lamor-eaux. Vocal number by Vicki, LaRae, Joan and Cherie, joined by Greg Miller, Clint Bentley and Richard Van Ausdal. Kathy Mitchell, Kathy Rowley, Joan Evans and Brenda Chamberlain Cham-berlain will impersonate "The Beetles." The school dance band consisting of Glade Holyohk. Richard Van Ausdal, Wayne Eyre and John Rogerson will play selections, se-lections, and Ruth Ann Knight and Cheryl Lynn Stubbs will play a piano duet. Norman Robinson will be M.C. for the program which is being presented under the direction of the High School assembly committee com-mittee consisting of John Wilson, Karl Thurber and Alice Mayer of the faculty and Wayne Eyre, student body vice president. |
