Show KMARR&VILE NEWS NOTES Carma William Five of our girls participated In the Jr. High Gym Jamboree. They were Deboiah Williams, Colleen Chrlstcnsen, Elaine Batty, Bat-ty, Kathy Davis and Christine Cornelius. Chester Williams, De-lile De-lile Davis and Maynard Christen-ae Christen-ae . attended First Aid School last week in Cedar City at the Armory. They received their certificate cer-tificate for first aid from the Department of the Interior Bureau Bur-eau of Mines. Maynard also re-wived re-wived a course in mine rescue. Mrs. Flora Chrlstcnsen has returned re-turned home from California after af-ter spending two weeks there. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams and Vicki spent the week end in Las Vegas with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Kobinson. Tuesday visitors with Hanna Davis were Diana Winsor o f Ivans and Daniel Winder from Springdale. Visiting last week at the De-lile De-lile Davis home were Mrs. Mlg--non Malen and children, Debbie and Gary, of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Yvonne MacDonough and Tam-jmie Tam-jmie of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Decker, daughter Garna, and son, Gordon, of Parowan, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Prince, Cedar Ce-dar City. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Isom and family were Mr. and Mrs. Pat Goble and children of Alameda, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. O'Dell Bryant and girls of Cedar City. Mrs. Verna Hinton spent last week in Las Vegas, Nev., with her husband, Stilman, who has employment em-ployment there. Miss Christine Cornelius attended at-tended the Language Fair in Pro-vo Pro-vo Saturday. Christine was one of the outstanding students in the Spanish Class In the 7th grade in the Jr. High. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer and family spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day at Lake Mead. Phil Sevey and mother Bess, of Los Angeles, Calif., were Sunday visitors at the Austin Ence home. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and daughter, Belinda, of Salt Lake City spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry. Mrs. Linda Nelson spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon DeMille. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Williams and son, Joseph, and Mr. and Mrs. Junius Williams traveled to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Conference. Con-ference. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Stuckl visited Sunday with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams. Pvt. Robert G. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis, is home from his training camp at Camp Polk Louisiana for a short leave. Robert has completed com-pleted his training in Industrial Construction. On his return he will be sent to Greenland. Miss Deanna Smith of St. George spent Sunday here with Robert Davis. Calling at the home of Clayton and Shirley Reeves last week were Shirley's mother and brother, bro-ther, Mrs. L. B. Cornwall and Richard, of Connecticut and her grandmother, Mrs. Thomas Cope of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson from Santa Ana, Calif., and their friends called in for a few hours' visit with Jennie Williams. Mrs. Wilson is the former Ravoe Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Esplin and daughter of Cedar City spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Esplin. Mrs. Jenn'.e Williams spent Monday In Cedar visiting Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stapley. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Drake and daughter of Henderson visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Isom. Dennis returned home Sunday Sun-day but MayDell and daughter plan on spending the week here. Mrs. Leona Dalton and children chil-dren spent the day visiting their mother, Mabel Williams. Mrs. Ethna Williams and Barbara Bar-bara spent the afternoon in Cedar Ce-dar City visiting Mr. and Mrs. Verde Williams and sons of Downey, Dow-ney, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Pollock and children visited Sunday afternoon af-ternoon with Ethna and Barbara 1 Williams. We had a beautiful snow storm Sunday night. About six inches of new snow was a welcome sight to most of us. |
