Show Ogden - Biederman Win Top Honors In Women's Bowling Virginia Ogden and Tillie Bied-erman Bied-erman walked off with top individual in-dividual honors this week in the Women's Bowling League action. Tillie had the high game of 209 while Mrs. Ogden captured the top series with a 528. Close behind in the high scores were Joan Paddock with two pins under the top effort with a 520 and Tillie led the Queen's Pin league with a 507. In team scores Cedar Bowling Lanes wound up with a 618 game and KSUB compiled a 1825 series to lead the Alley Katts League. Last week concluded action in this league with KSUB finishing on top by one-half game. The Thursday Morning Scratch League saw Team Two, composed compos-ed of Virginia Ogden, Sara Mitchell Mit-chell and Mela Rowberry, posted the Mgh game of 550 while Team Seven, composed of Evelyn Carr, Joan Paddock and Pat Rollo post-ved post-ved the to pseries of 1474. The Cedar Belles has also completed com-pleted the season with Hugh's Caf; coming out on top. Meniere Meni-ere of the team are Tillie Biederman, Bieder-man, Lura Stapley, Suzanne Kline, Nona Cheever and Bea Miller. Mil-ler. Donna Jolley won Individual honors with her 607 scratch series, while Tillie won a trophy for her scratch game. She also received re-ceived the WIBC most improved bowler award. Colleen Nelson received a trophy tro-phy for high handicap series and Lillian Hazel won a trophy for high handicap game. The sportsmanship sports-manship award was captured by the Safeway team. |
