Show March Travel to Zion Park Shows Increase Travel to Zlon National Park for March totaled 19,915 visitors, according to Superintendent Frank R. Oberhansley. This is an Increase of 3,500 people above March last year; however the increase in-crease is due to the earlier vacation va-cation period this year. Travel for the year now totals 41,600 people for the first three months, or an Increase of 1'A ahead of 1963. Supt. Oberhansley said that spring has arrived at Zion National Na-tional Park. Grass and shrubs are turning green and trees are showing signs of leafing out. The temperatures reached a high of 79 degrees on March 31, with higher readings expected in April. Ap-ril. March precipitation was 1.68 Inches. |
