Show i Word Is Received Of Death of Floyd James Hyatt Relatives in Parowan received word on Monday of the death of Floyd James Hyatt, 46, a native and former resident of this community. com-munity. Mr. Hyatt died Monday at 10:30 a. m. from a cerebral hemorrhage at Chico, Calif, according ac-cording to word received here. Funeral services and burial will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. and burial will take place In I Redding, Calif., where he has resided re-sided much of the time since leaving Parowan. Floyd was born in Parowan March 14, 1918 a son of LeRoy and Rose Hyatt, and he went through high school and then moved to Lakeview, Ore, where he resided for a number of years. He returned to Parowan where he engaged in farming and livestock live-stock raising for ten years and then returned to Redding Calif, where he lived until one and one-half years ago. He was married to Patricia (Tat) ODell at Klamath Falls, Ore. in 1938, and she survives him along with the following children, Larry and Dell Hyatt, Chico, Calif.; Carol Hyatt, Redding, Red-ding, Calif.; and two grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Also surviving are his father and foster mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hyatt, Parowan; and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Elmer El-mer L. Blake, Klamath Falls, Ore.; Mrs. Dell (Ruth) Bennett, Redding; Mrs. Ward (Vione) Cot-trell, Cot-trell, and Mrs. Robert L. (Dar-lene) (Dar-lene) Snider, Roseburg, Ore., Mrs. Alma Hyatt, and Michael and Gerald Hyatt, Parowan and Jtm Hyatt, North Las Vegas, Nev. Since moving to California the last time he has been employed as a butcher inspecator and meat buyer for a large chain store organization or-ganization in northern California. "Traveling to Redding for the funeral service from this area were Jim Hyatt, of North Las Vegas, Gerald and Mike Hyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hyatt and their daughter, Mrs. Darlene H. Rowley of Parowan. |
