Show Students Participate In Foreign Language Fair at Y Eight students from Mrs. Lel-lani Lel-lani Bentley's Spanish class at the Parowan High School travelled travel-led to Provo on Saturday in a bus with students from the Cedar High School students to attend the 1964 Foreign Language Fair sponsored and held at Brlgham Young University. Six of the PHS representatives were first year and two were second sec-ond year Spanish students. The students from this year entered the Fair with no previous competition com-petition as no area meet had been held, it is announced by the school, and therefore knew very little of what they were to meet. Joan Evans received an excellent rating, and Karen Dalton Dal-ton received a very good rating. Others going for Parowan High were Jerrolyn Benson, Elliott Hulet, Hu-let, Katherine Rowley, Ruth Ann Knight, Gayle Rogerson and Andrea An-drea Adams. |
