Show PARAGOHAH f:EVS NOTES . Mrs. HUma Lamoreaux The winter holiday season began be-gan early In Paragonah with the annual dinner lor Primary officers and their husbands, which was held on Dec. 1. The group met In the basement base-ment of the ward chapel for a delicious dinner. This was followed fol-lowed by games, group singing and the story which was outlined out-lined or the occasion. Seasonal decorations added to the festive occasion. Most of the Primary workers and their partners were present and the Bishopric and their wives were special guests. The December meeting of the local D. U. P. organization will be held at the home of Mrs. Hannah Robinson on Dec. 13th. A social is planned. Mrs. Nina Robb and Mrs. Irene Robinson took their Sunday School class members to St George Saturday to do baptism work In the Temple. There were fourteen youngsters on the "ip and some of the mothers accompanied accom-panied the group. Mr. and Mr D. Amasa Stones were In Cedar City for Sunday afternoon with their son, Mario and his family. Mrs. Roene Lund, daughter Gayle, Miss Clara Mae Allison and Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell spent Sunday afternoon In Cedar City. Mrs. Maxwell spent the after .oon visiting with the Rex Maxwells. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport Daven-port entertained at family dinner at their home Sunday in honor of Douglas' birthday anniversary. Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lew-is Davenport ana mi. and Mrs. Will Robb were present, along with Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards. Mrs. Clare Miller of Beaver Dam, Ariz., arrived here Sunday for an overnight visit with the Wilson Lunds and Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell. Donald Burton as down from Logan for the week end and on Sunday he took his family home again. Laura and the children have ben here with Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux since Thanksgiving. Ellen and Linda Jolley of Cedar Ce-dar City were here with their grandparents from Friday to Monday while their parents were on a trip to Las Vegas. J. B. Jones and Sam Lister were home from Provo to spend the week end with their people, the Blaine Jones and Frank Lister families. Belatedly we learned that Mr. I and Mrs. Art Marsigli and sons were In town to spend Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with Viola's mother, Mrs. Emma Topham. Mrs. Nora Barton arrived home Sunday af er more than a week's visit with her daughter, Mrs. Ernice Allred in St. George. Tlie two younger children of Mr. and Mrs. Dee White of Summit Sum-mit are spending a few days here visiting with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere I Robinson, while the parents are on a business trip to Salt Lake , |
