OCR Text	Show State Calls for Bids For Bridge on Zion Park Highway Bids for widening the bridge on State Road No. IS at Black Canyon In Sprlngdale, Washington Washing-ton County, will be. opened Dec. 11 at the State office building. Earl Johnson, district engineer at Cedar City, indicated that the project would have federal aid assistance and would require 45,691 pounds of re-lnforclng steel and 51 precast beams together to-gether with 323 cubic yards of Class "A" concrete and will require re-quire iwo and one-half months for construction. With the heavy traffic over the road through Zion National Park and Sprlngdale, this has been a much needed improvement for some time, stated W. J. Smlrl, state highway commissioner.
