Mrs. Ethel Lund of Modena and Cedar City visited at the home of Mrs. Cassie Christensen last week. Also visiting at the Christensen home were Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Thomas and four youngsters from Enterprise. Mrs. Geneva Gillies visited in Cedar City last week with her daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Kumen Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. David Sterling of Leeds visited last week at the home of their daughter and family, fa-mily, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Chris-tensen. They also visited Mrs. Mildred Tullis and Mrs. Cassie Christensen. Visiting at the Trusten Hart home this week was Mrs. Venita Amis of Anchorage, Alaska. Clara and Venita were schoolmates In Hurricane, and the Arns fami'y resided In New Castle for a year. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Clark of Beryl this week. I The Liahona girls of the New Castle Ward Primary held a de- I monstration program and party Sunday afternoon for their parents. par-ents. Mrs. Elsa Woodland is their I teacher and after a fine presentation presen-tation by the girls they served i light refreshments. Mrs. Belle Hulet returned home over the week end and left again I Monday for St. George where she I has been taking care of her mother mo-ther who is very ill. |
